Finder ID and Network Connectivity Issues

I am reconnecting my slingbox after switching cable companies. I am using a different router and cable box then before but the same computer. After I reconnect everything the finder id cannot find the slingbox. If I look at the network indicator light on the slingbox it is not connecting. I can hook up a laptop to the same network line and it works. What is going on? I am using ATT Uverse, I don't know if this helps.

I have the same problem. I called slingbox and they said it is for analog tv only and will not work with digital picture like uverse. I think this is wrong though beause my old tv put out a digital signal too. I think it just needs digital cables (not coaxil cables) to hook it up and I think we have to figure out exactly how to do it since the connections are different on the uverse boxes. Right now though slingbox says it wont work at all with digital and won't work for anyone after Feb. of 09. I think the guy was to lazy to look up the correct info.
